Today, I read about the Maria Walewska exploitation in IoT devices. I’m surprised how some poeple can do something like this. What they used is a very collective power to millions of devices. It seems to me that they have exploited the weaknesses in the OSI models at least the weakest ones. They have launched an attack on the devices that run on ARC processors. What Maria scanned were Internet of Things devices, especially those whose default usernames and passwords are not updated frequently.
Those who created this problem knew the soft target of the Internet of Things. These devices are difficult to monitor constantly all the time. Because they include numerous things, including baby monitoring, network routers, switches, vehicles, and medical devices, cc cameras. It is hard to monitor all.
